2003 honda rebel250cc low miles take over payment. I bought this bike this past year as a commuter, I chose it because I had not rode in over 20 years and I was unsure if I would still like it. Well I did like it, and then I dislocated my shoulder at work this past spring and garaged it until I knew the outcome of my injury. Well I will not be able to ride for a very long time and I am making payments on this bike in the mean time.
It only has about 3100 miles on it and has an aftermarket windscreen, and saddle bags. I will include my icon helmet.
The balance of the loan is about $3500, @ $175 per month payment, more if you want.
Now I called my finance company and they said three ways to do this;
1. You pay cash I pay loan off.
2. You call them and apply for credit, I sign release and you get bike and loan.
3. You pay them directly, I sign bike over to you when paid off.
The latter would require you and I to draft and have a notary sign an agreement that you would be responsible for the payment, maintenance (per factory timelines), full coverage insurance, damage, etc. This process will get me involved in your business and I will stay involved to protect my interests. So this is the least desirable method. I am sure you will agree.
Please read the ad twice before emailing me with dumb questions such as "what is involved in taking over payments"?
Thanks
Cris
