Well you've already got a pretty good number of folks signed up, good sign for momentum - I like the idea of a general women's forum - not ride-type specific, not goal specific, I hope this works out.

Anyways, a little about me:

I've been riding for about 20 years now - mainly road riding of all flavors: day rides, touring, road-racing, commuting. I've taught beginner classes, mentored folks on the road (mainly women) and taught people to ride on the track. I usually do my own mechanicking other than suspension and most engine work. I can usually be found zipping around on one form of sport bike or another but recently I've discovered dirt biking which looks like it could become a new passion.

To fund all this entertainment I work as a computer-user interaction designer in Redwood City, California, my new home after growing up in Western Canada.

I'm usually a lurker-type on the forums and lists I belong to but given the nature of this forum I'll try to be more vocal.
