I've read about this suit before, but this is the first bit of video I've seen of it in action

I'm impressed with the video. It deployed before his shoulder hit the ground, I thought it didn't inflate until impact and had wondered how that worked. Now I need to go back and reread the info on what triggers the bags.

As many times as I have seen riders/racers fall. It didn't look like a scene that I see much of. (I am referring to my CCS Marshaling work and trackday play days)
I mostly see lowsides with a long slid. No flipping. If they do flip it is at the end when they think they have slowed enough to put their hands out and they are still going too fast and they flip then.
Highsides are more harsh. Slam and mostly tumble. Though some riders manage to not tumble and just slide.
I have a friend that says/screams :nono: over and over out loud to remind him that he can't use his hands yet to try and stop himself as he is sliding because he knows it can flip him.
They all to a person prefer to slide!
So now you have gone down and you are ok and you get back on your bike. Now what do you do? Is it a one time use? Or can you re-use the system?

I was wondering about close calls. Take this example:

What if a rider recovers and now he has this airbag thing flapping around his neck?

What if a rider recovers and now he has this airbag thing flapping around his neck?
Or just needs to pick up the bike and get going again?
I don't care for it. I would rather have a collar instead.
