Hi all,

I was introduced to this place by ersigh, and it looks like bluepoof is here as well :: wave ::

Officially I've been riding since 1996; I learned in England, starting in January. After the "interesting" weather we've been having here in California, I'm getting used to that style of *wet* riding again.

I first learned when I was 18, but it was parking lot learning and that romance didn't last, so the official start date was January 13, 1996 with the British equivalent of the MSF. I do not drive cars.

I worked up from a 125cc Honda to my current scoot, Beastie, a 1400cc Suzuki Intruder. Arnie, the bike of my heart, no longer runs.

Came to the USA in 1997.

Last year I rode solo to Texas and back and am in the process of getting the book-of-the-story out. :-) This year, I'm planning to go to Nevada to hunt down its 260 or so state historical markers. I wonder how far I'll get. ;-)

I love to hunt down historical markers on my bike, too.
