Hi, My name is TR and I sold my overly large house last year, paided off my morgage, all of my debits and put some away for a rainy day. :yahoo: I have no wife, no kids, cheap rent, self employed and live a simple life style that allows me to ride my motorcycle practily every day (weather permiting of course). According to the news this is not possable. Am I doing something wrong?:wtf:

Living in a refridgerator box (wax coated ones are the best for holding off the rain and snow) and free wifi from the local buisness's. Was going to move under a bridge but recently they have been found to be unsafe around here.

My name is LT My mortgage rate on our little piece of paradise started at 9 7/8% with 2 points down with a 30 year sentence. ( that was a good rate at the time)
5 years into it the rates dropped to 7 1/4% we refinanced for 15 years and was able to pay it off early :yahoo:
:chin:One might think wow with a huge mortgage off your back you must have extra monies
No silly people by then the house needed upgrades. :slaphead: :D:

Then after 30 years of morgage payments, insurance, taxes, upgrades, repairs and maintanace you sell for what seems like a large profit.......untill you add what you paid for the interest, insurance, taxes, upgrades, repairs and maintanance:eek:........ At least you feel like your ahead of the game!

Speaking from experience as soon as you think everything is going smoothly. Your pennies are starting to add up again.
That is when the greedy gemlins rear their little heads
They will come along and http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/rpg012.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org/) Your saved monies will be gone

That is my thinking. I was all ready to start saving that car payment! But then we really needed new mattresses :cloud9: for the kiddo and I. So I found myself in a furniture store, and started thinking that it's time to replace that 20 year old couch...but first I need to replace the carpet...Next year, I'll start saving next year.
Good thing I love my car still!
