Hi forum-
Anyone have experience with the "trailer in a bag"?
http://www.trailerinabag.com/

I found a used one for a decent price, and it's light weight is attractive, since I have a small car - (and I don't want a bigger towing vehicle)
I'll be towing my bike to and from Utah (from AZ) once a year... other than that, not much need for it.

Whaddya think?

My friend has one of those he uses with his civic si and he *loves* it. He is a small guy, about 5 ft tall, and he says that it is very easy to put together. I've considered getting one but I always end up providing transpo for someone else.

Does your friend tow a moto with it?

I thought the trailer in a bag was made specifically for that? (yes)

Yes, it seems to be, but the person I may be buying from used it for her kayak!

That's a good idea. It makes sense it would work for that too.

Here's a question - how does your (short) friend unload his bike? I'm short too... just sort of free fall down the little ramp and hope for the best? My feet would certainly not reach the ground while on the ramp! Or does he walk it down?
Thanks!

I don't know. It's my guess he walks it down. My truck is pretty tall and generally we set a stepping stool or box or something like that so there's always a point in which the bike is easily reachable and controllable.
