First, I wanted to ask who was planning to go to Femmoto (http://www.femmoto.com/femmotonews.html). They have changed the event some. It is now a 2 Day Women's Demo day rather than 1 Day Demo and 1 Day Track day. I was told it was going to be at Infineon this year but apparently that is :bsand it will be at Las Vegas Speedway again.

The second thing I'm spastically happy about. Bonnie asked me to be an instructor for both days. :) This is plus plus. I get to help other riders AND I don't have to ride the demo bikes. :lol Just to be clear, I think the demo bike idea is *great* it just happens to be that I'm a very commited person and feel terribly guilty when I ride other bikes. ;)

I was told I was welcome to be an instructor for a trackday organizer and it never panned out. It's something that I've wanted to do since I started feeling more confident on the track. My head is filled with tons of information which I happen to be good at communicating. I am really looking forward to being a supportive, informative influence for other women riders.

I went a couple of years ago, and had a great time. I'd love to go again. The best part was riding all the different bikes in a place where I didn't have to be concerned about traffic, or about stopping on a sloped surface where I couldn't touch the ground. I'm very timid when I'm on a bike that is unfamiliar and belongs to someone else, especially if it's an expensive one. I'm glad it's not in midsummer this year; maybe I can manage not to get heatstroke this time!

Would it be feasible to get a group together from the Bay Area to share the cost of travel and accommodations?

Last year several of us stayed in a house. Racercutie did the planning for that. It ended up being pretty cheap for the weekend. It was a bit stressful for me because I am not too into being around more than one other person when I'm in my recharge spot but it worked out well financially. The house was really nice too. I'm hoping to figure out something similiar this year.
