Well I did it...:yahoo:
I pulled the trigger and ordered them yesterday.

I missed the buy of the year on them at some BMW shop in California of $179 :cry1:
:smack: She (who will remain nameless) didn't post the sale on this forum and by the time I read it on the other one they were no longer available :mgbanghead:

I felt I couldn't wait any longer time is closing in so I ordered them from New Enough for $319

So will I
I have been looking at them for a very very long time It was hard for me to commit to spending that kind of money.Even though I know I am worth it and besides I should get 3 years out of them so actually they were quite reasonably priced.:D:

I'm curious as well. I haven't ordered the Frey daytona boots yet and would like to know If they give you any more reach

If they are anything like our Sidi Sympatex boots, they may take a week of walking around before they feel comfortable off the bike. Mine have two years (20,000 smiles) on them and I am expecting they will easily go another 20,000.

Mine have only a few thousand miles, I got them this Spring. I am still struggling with them rubbing on my heels. Hopefully they will get more easy to walk in soon. For riding and being weather proof, they are fantastic!

Did you get the Infinity GTX Touring Boots ? :confused2:I don't believe you told us you bought new boots this season :D:.
 Rubbing on your heels I don't like the sound of that. :mghissyfit:Please tell me more about the fit & comfort. Now you have me worried.:cry1:
There is NO place around here to try on boots so I did as much research as I could on line Didn't read anything negative about them..
What kind of sock do you wear? Do you think it is because they are a man's boot so maybe too wide for a woman's foot?

rAK is a away from the computer. She is breaking in a pair of Sidi Sympatex boots like mine. The waterproofness is awesome and the size is right. Not too wide. In her case, it is the leather right behind the achilles tendon. It seems to want to fold inward when she walks instead of away from the skin. Totally comfortable on the bike but not the slipper like experience I am having when off the bike.

Thanks for clearing that up for me Nut :D: I reread your post and realize now that you said " like OUR Sidi Sympatex boots" in the post above hers
:slaphead: OOPS I was doing a big jumping to the wrong conclusion
Sorry RAK is not having a good time breaking in her boots :(:

I'll live, but I wish mine were as comfy as Nut says his are! I'm wearing fairly thick motorcycle socks, but still have the rubbing. I think my solution will be to always carry walking shoes I can change into if we are walking any distance.

Have you considered taking them to a Bootery and ask them if they could work on the problem spot either by stretching or adding padding or something . I don't know if they could solve the problem but it might be worth checking out.

I haven't. I keep hoping that as I wear them the problem will miraculously disappear. Since we have a great boot shop at the end of our street, though, taking them in is a great idea.
