I have two passions in my life my jet ski and my bike, kind of in that order.
Yesterday I helped marshall the 2nd Anual MJ cup. This young lad MJ was hit by another stand-up ski in the head last year, no helmet. Never again will the crowd ride with no helmets.
But this year was better than last as MJ was there on his ski and not in a wheel chair.
I do not race but rather ride long distance as on a bike, just thought I share some pics.

What kind of helmets do you wear for jetskiing? They look like regular off road helmets?

I love water. I scuba dive. But the idea of wearing a helmet and having it fill up with water terrifies me.

#1.Someone pick a song
#2. each of you record your part it
#3 then have it mixed on a CD.
PS Do we have a singer? or better yet a song writer?
Otherwise it would be a heck of a long commute to get together for band practice:D::cheers:

We used to ski all the time, but have not been able to get out much anymore. I hope to this year. Building snowmen, and going sled riding is the winter time fun now with a 3 year old. LOVE IT!

Reading and Photography are definitely on my list. In Anchorage I liked to cross-country ski, I'm not sure how that will work here. I also like to paint and to stained glass, but haven't really had a place to do either for a long time. Maybe that will change with our new house.

seems to me when i lived in southern alberta, spokane was most of our 'cable' stations. i think they have more winter there than southern alberta, which experiences 'chinooks' every few weeks (6 at most) so you should have some decent snow for that. even if it is like alberta there, I did learn to cross country ski when i was a kid.....
ridingAK

I am hoping I'll be able to still do some skiing. There are several downhill ski areas nearby, so I know snowfall isn't necessarily the issue as much as ski trails at lower elevations.

I HAVE to second this one! I too sleep and consider it my greatest joy! (well, that might be a little extreme!) My problem is that because I work 7p-7a I have to sleep during the day when the rest of the world is awake, then I sleep too on nights I am off work too! So, pretty much, my life is consumed with work and sleep! :mghissyfit:
