:) Hello all! Just got word of this site from another site and thought I would check it out. Nice web set up. Purple is my favorite color. I am in the Indiana area and have been riding for almost 2 years (in June I will have my 2 years in). I currently ride a 1991 Kawasaki EX500 (red/white). The only mods I have done so far is to lower the back end and put risers on the front so I could attempt to be as flat footed as possible. I am 5'1" so it's kinda hard to find the right height bike for me, but I'm working on it. Anyone in my area, hit me up and maybe we can hook up for a ride!

BTW, I hate helmet hair!

I like helmet hair. I have frizzy/curly hair and the helmet solves that issue. :) My mom's helmet has a sticker that said, "Hair do by helmet", lol.

The ex500 is a good bike. I picked up an 87' for my brother for $500 and we did some work to it ... 3 years later it's still going. :)

Thanks for the hello! Well, I put a few miles on the ol' EX the other day and had a good time. I really notcie the ability to almost flat foot but I didn't notice any difference in the handling so I guess that's good. I also ordered a new Scorpion EXO 400 Octane helmet!!! I'm soooooo excited :happy I can't wait until I get it. I tried one on in the store and it fit much tighter than my regular helmet but felt really good. I thought my old helmet fit good, this one fits more betterer (yep, I said betterer). I should be getting it by Tuesday of next week. I might just wear it around the house I'm so excited!!!

hehe. I was very excited when I got my Arai. I haven't heard of the Scorpion, I'll look it up. :] Of course I'm growing out my hair (used to keep it buzzed) so now my helmet doesn't fit quite right and I might have to get a different size ... yeesh!
