Disclaimer: My laughing has nothing to do with people that RIDE there loud piped bikes. But, I have seen many that do not and don't wish to learn what it takes to be a safe proficient rider. No gear and loud pipes does not make a rider in "my" book. I have a LOUD bike and can ride it too but when I do it is ATGATT all the way baby! :yahoo:

I saw a post on ADV where the guy saw loud pipes save lives. He was behind a bike with loud pipes and they stopped at a traffic light next to a convertable and the pipes were so loud the driver of the convertable had to end her phone call because she couldn't hear.
