Welcome Panda!

Thank you for registering!

While looking around don't forget to check out the garage and profile sections!! They are areas where you can personalize your own little nook of TWF!! Its a nice way to put faces with names and to find more about the great people on the site.

As always, if you have any questions or suggestions feel free to ask us or let us know!

How about you start off by telling us a little bit about yourself?

I don't have bike yet, but I'm looking.

That's all, for now.

What kind of bike do you want to get?

I'm kinda leaning (:lol ) towards getting a SV650.

I just want something to play with, around town. From what I've read, it seems like a bike that'll grow with me nicely, too.

The bike that's really catching my eye now, is the Yamaha MT-03, but it doesn't look like it'll be coming over here, anyways. Probably too much bike for me, at this point, too.:(

The SV was my first bike. If a car hadn't beaten it up, I'd still have it. It was a great bike. :)

Thanks, the more I think about it, the better the SV looks.

Now, I just have to decide if I want a fairing on it, or not.

That's a tough one. I had the SVS which was nice because I did a lot of long rides and the wind break helped but I like the way the naked SV looks a bunch too.

There are a couple of technical differences between the naked and non-naked SVs too, at least prior to the 03. The naked SV has a bigger rear sprocket (1 tooth). The SVS is meant to be more "sporty" so the seating position is slightly more agressive. AFAIK (I could be wrong on this), the forks on the SVS have preload adjustment and the SV doesn't.
