This make is new to our area and according to all that I've read seems to be an excellent bike.. Has any one out there heard of these or seen them?? Would love to hear any comments etc... I've attached a picture of the bike however the one that I bought is black....Duh, I forgot to add what the bike is-- Its a 2006 Hyosung GV650..

I've never heard of that bike. It's sweet though! - and a twin. It must sound awesome!.
I love the sleekness of it too. A sport cruiser?

Congrats!!

Gorgeous bike! I'm a sportbike type, but that's one sweet looking bike! We're getting some good weather next week here on the left coast. Hopefully you'll get some good riding weather back there, too. Sucks to have a new bike & nothing but rain & cold.

I finally got my new SV650S home a week ago after a 2 week wait for the weather to clear. I was all set to rent a trailer, but I couldn't resist the ride. And the weather Goddess smiled on me and let me have a great 4 hr. ride with only 15 minutes of rain at the end!

Have fun!!!

It is a sport cruiser with about 71 HP--just about 20 more than the 800 Suzuki Inturder or Maurader etc... I just got rid of my GXSR 750.. After about 40 miles I thought my shoulders and back would just blow up even with Heli Bars. I guess the GSXR 750 is just not my riding style.. Loved the feel of the ride but not how my body felt.. :( At this point with this bike I think I will have a better chance of keeping up with the hubby on the CBR929-- :lol --but at least I will be comfortable..

Will let you know how the ride actually is once I get it this week.. Gosh I can't wait !!

Go to Purplemoon.com http://www.purplemoon.com/Stickers/stickers.html . She has gorgeous decals & transfers, great service, great prices. I just ordered a s^&*-load of them, then picked the ones I liked best. Be sure to go to the FAQ to see the difference in stickers. It's not easy to understand how something will look on the bike, so it's best to get several. The vinyl stickers don't work as well as the window stickers or transfers. The extras are great for your car, house, or just for fun.

If you look closely at my Avatar, you might be able to see my yellow fairing fairy at the base of my windshield. Keeps the MC Goddess happy.

Have fun and post pics of what you come up with!

Thanks Holly!! I checked out the site you suggested and saw several that I would love to put on the bike.. How do they hold up on yours? I have a feeling that I'm going to be really really anal about cleaning the bike and am curious as to how the stickers will hold up.. Actually if there is a sticker that I like I don't see why I could not just have it custom painted on it but then its more fun to change it every now and then..

Just curious, who does your paint?

My husbands brother knows a guy who painted his custom Harley like a b-52 bomber that was on display at Americade last year but, I'm always open to suggestions. Geez you got anybody in mind??? ;)

Yeah I know a guy in Schaghticoke who does really good work, when mines done I'll post some pictures. He's done a ton of cars and bikes in the area. Ever been to a Weekend Warriors or Tabacco Road car show?

Here's some pics of my dads Harley, not my style or his but the same guy will be doing a new paint job as soon as my dad figures out what he wants. Sorry the quality is so bad, my camera is fussy about lighting conditions.

I haven't had my stickers on my bike long enough to know for sure, but they look like they'll hold up quite well. It's certainly nice to have something painted, but I don't think I could come up with anything I'd really like that the 90% of "other" riders would want when I go to sell. The same old flames, skulls, flags, and eagles just aren't my style either. I suspect having a frog with fairy wings painted on my bike might limit my market a little. :lol Although if I offered to show them my frog tattoo, I could probably get some men to work with me.

Plus I'm like you, my tastes change from time to time....

yeah i cant stand the typical flames, eagles, and what not. My bike just got a plain white tribal design on the tank.

Awesome looking bike! I came across a web page for them as someone from another site I belong to works at a dealership in clifton park. Is that where you got it? Let me know how you like it as I'm eyeing it up at some point. I also like the Suzuki Boulevard. Best of luck to you with it and since your local maybe we'll meet up sometime.

Beachfreak, I got the bike in Glens Falls at Autoworld Suzuki. Its exit 17N off the northway about a mile down on the left. If you happen to take a ride up make sure you ask for David and tell him that Gail sent you. He's an awesome guy! I think once you sit on the bike and start it up you will like it much more then the Boulevard. I did. :) It's got quite a bit more zip too..

yep I've seen them before...Theres a Triumph dealership in Chatanooga TN that carries them....I've sat on the 2 models they had there and they seem to be a great starter bike. They make scooters too that are pretty cool.

good luck with it!

I agree with you as far as comfort and I do think that the 250s make a great starter bike bit as far as the GV650 I wouldn't think its such a great starter bike. Especially since the bike has about 20 more HP then your standard 800 Intruder or Maurader. It's got pep. I picked it because I'm just coming off a GSXR 750. When selecting a bike I wanted comfort and guts and this bike certainly fits the bill. :)

Gail, I just put two and two together, I'm Alison, George's wife from the NEMOTO site. I saw you pics on there and figured it out. George figured that you probably didn't know who I was.
