Hi friends - I'm considering replacing the shocks on my new Bonneville SE for two reasons: better ride, and to lower the bike (the new ones are lower but still...) The ride is pretty much ok but harsh on what passes for the freeway around here.
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with Progressive shocks? Like/not like?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, I've heard Elka is good! I'm not an expert in suspensions, but my goal is to also lower the bike;I'm not finding info specific to the 2009 Bonneville SE, just for the older, higher models. I read that Progressive shocks will lower a Bonneville an inch. That's for the old model, and I'm not sure if they will also lower the new. Thanks for all your help, I know I'm not bringing much to the table here.... :-)
I am sending Elka a question via their site now, and my husband put a HyperPro on his Triumph so we will ask them too. I'll let everybody know what I hear, and thanks!
