Having just been verbally smacked around a little by KCDakar, I decided I better post something about our ride last weekend. I didn't take a whole lot of pictures, but a lot of the ride was a repeat of my ride from last weekend. The pictures tell their own story of the ride through the Columbia Gorge. What they don't show is that in addition to awesome views, the road is FULL of great twisties.

The only pic on Saturday, was during our lunch break.

Nice pics!

My sister lives outside of Granite Falls and I lived with her for a few years (20 years ago  ) and thought about moving there again because of how beautiful it is out there - decided against because Seattle is to expensive\congested now - but those pictures make me want to do a trip out there. :chin:

We are loving Spokane. It isn't pretty in the same way that Seattle is, but it is relatively cheap, and it is an easy ride to the wet/pretty side.

Beautiful pics!! :clapping: Did you take the one of Mt. Hood through a window of some sort? It's cool the way it's framed.

Mt Hood is framed by the side of the little information stand. I was reading the card, looked over and liked the way it framed the picture. :):

I didn't know that! When is it during the year? I am still planning for MEXICO 2010!!! Mexico would be in late September, early October.

3rd week of July usually. This year is the 16-18...not sure the exact dates for next year.
In October I'll be visiting the site and reporting (with pictures) about it.

No conflict there! What a great excuse for a road trip, and I have friends in the area!
