High flying Wildman Ronnie Renner bested his own world record set during last summer’s Red Bull Experiment 3 (http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/306/1420/Motorcycle-Article/Red-Bull-Experiment-3-Santa-Monica.aspx) this weekend in Chicago, Illinois.
Saturday's event titled the Red Bull High Rise featured Renner once again taking on a massive 22-foot tall quarterpipe, this time in front of a few thousand Midwest fans and the Windy City’s skyscrapers.
Renner launched his KTM (http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/297/Motorcycles/KTM-Motorcycles.aspx) 2-Stroke motocross bike to a height of 63 feet, 5 inches.
That’s over four feet higher than he managed to do on the Santa Monica Pier last July. After yet another successful world record, Renner will be heading back to California to participate in this summer’s X Games competition in which he’ll compete in Moto X Step Up and Best Whip events.
