Here I go again... shopping. (I've given up on the blue jean look-alike leathers, though)

Looking for a pair of pants. Although I'm still pretty new at this, I'm quickly becoming a gear nazi convert. So, I guess that means I want leather. And CE armor, preferably on knees AND hips. And full circumferance zipper. Since I live in Tucson, they've got to be perfed. I thought I had decided on the Alpinestars Stella Track Pants (I'm not dragging my knees yet, but their track pants are the only ones in the Stella line that are perfed) but I just found out they are no longer selling them in the US, and haven't had any luck finding anyone with my size on hand.
I've also heard many negative comments regarding the quality of Joe Rocket and Icon gear, so I haven't really been considering those brands.
I found these...
Tourmaster Cortech Apex Air (http://www.tourmaster.com/product.html?sku=84-168)
They meet my safety requirements, but their smallest size is an 8 and I usually take a 4.

Suggestions?
Has anyone ever had perfs put in aftermarket? If that is doable, I'd love the Stella Bat Pants.
I'm going to be in Portland next weekend. Anyone know of a place up there that has a nice selection of women's gear? Not much here at all in Tucson. I won't have a car, but I hear that the public trans is good.

Thanks!

Yes, the MAX line is great. Easy even for a country bumpkin like me. Google Tri-Met for schedules, etc. Didn't have a bike last time I hung out there, so can't help on who'd have good gear. I've had the best luck at H-D and BWM shops here, but I suspect someone with a good sportsbike line-up will have women's gear. Have fun.

www.cyclegear.com is still showing the stella track pants

Im looking for the same deal, but I want pucks (figure if im dropping a couple hundred dollards, may as well wear em for a while)

the stella track pants are the only ones I can find with pucks ($320 at cyclegear)....

any suggestions? or comments on fit / quality / price?
