Looking for Zumo Mount Advice

OK Everyone:

Am getting a Zumo 550 and am struggling with how I am going to mount it on my F650GS.

I ordered a Touratech locking mount but ideally would like a handlebar bracket that goes over the instrument panel.

Does anyone have any suggestions and/or pictures they share?

I would call Garmin.:chin: It should come with a handlebar mount.... I think

I use a ram mount, love it. I do not know if it will work with the touratech, but it won't hurt to look.

I just saw two awesome mounts the other day for the F650GS. Let me go find them.

These are more base plates to mount to rather then actual holders. It looks like you ordered the TT mount, so you just need a place to put it now.

That's what I figgered. Not much else out there other than the Garmin, RAM, or Touratech.

I put the RAM on the 650GS last night and moved my backup marine mount to the 12GS. (:umph I know, I know... Yes. I have one GPS and three cradles.) I think I'll switch them around. I've got a new baseplate for the 650GS coming, anyway. Mounts right on the crossbar. Nowhere near as sticky-outy as a Techmount or RAM mount.

While the picture above is the mount I ended up buying, I shoulda waited. :baldy

I like the RAM mounts because they're so versatile. I've got one on the left side of the bar for my XM and on the right side for the GPS. I used to have another one for my cell phone.

I also use a RAM mount with my Zumo 450. Can't go wrong with a RAM mount.
