After a year of waiting due to various reasons and a week at my uncles shop, my bike is finally done. I have to wait for the clear to completely cure until I can put it back together fully. So far I just have the front fender back on, everything else is just resting on the frame.

Mods:
Eliminated cross over pipe on the exhaust near the header
Two Brothers Carbon Fiber exhaust
Rejetted to 40/150
Relocated directionals/license plate bracket/fenderectomy
Ignition Advancer
Custom Paint

And yes I know my gas cap is backwards and my seat isn't completely on. I didnt want to wreck the fresh clear and my dad set my gas cap on there so I wouldn't loose it in the box of parts I was putting back on. My frame looks pretty cruddy but its going to be powdercoated white next fall/winter, I didn't want to cut into my riding season anymore. I'm also going to get SV mirrors which will be coated over the chrome with special clear with the same blue candy, cbr rearsets, and a national cycle f-16 dark tint sport...but those are little things that can wait.

So what do you all think??

That looks great! And it looks like a fun bike to ride. Are you going to take it out this weekend?

The gs is awesome, I've owned alot of bikes including a ninja and a zzr. I've sold them and kept my gs. I'm taking it out tomorrow but I'm going away for the long weekend to Indianapolis.

cool I got a primered R1 :)

How much you think Sid would charge for a 2 tone paint job?

He charges different rates depending on the bike, for the R1, if it was just a straight shoot I can't imagine it being too awful bad. The price gets up there when he has to tape things. He's been busy though. I know a guy stopped in and needed his fender fixed on his Harley and Sid told him next week. Stop down and ask him, he's usually in the garage. I know he won't be there on Sunday, they're all going riding and then to a BBQ.
