I saw the post on myspace and decided to give it a try! It's nice to know that the female riding community has grown big enough to support it's own site:happy
I've been riding for about 5 years. I started out on a 93 Ninja 250. It got stolen last August from my brother's parking lot. I've ridden a little of everything trying to find something I liked and felt comfortable on. Finally decided on the gixxer.

Awesome! :) Welcome aboard - help us spread the word!
Not much right now but we're hoping this will be huge and a great source for female riders - just think of grouped community able to get manufactures to step up to the plate and start making gear :)

Sorry to hear that your bike got stolen. Man that stinks. Unfortunately I've heard a lot of the same story the last few seasons. The nerve of some people never ceases to amaze me. I'm definetly glad to hear you went with a gixxer!! Smart girl!! I love both of mine!! :) Hopefully we can get this site to grow so we can get large companies to take further notice of the growing female community. Power in numbers. I would love to get this site big enough to be able to get large sponsors to offer us all great deals on gear and parts. Also make it easier for female competitors to get sponsorships for racing. Time for women to get the recognition they deserve!!

As much as I was ready to get something bigger (I had been riding my friend's F4 and Aprilia Mille) I really miss that 250. Sentimental value more than anything I think. First bike to own, first bike to take down the drag strip, first one to really push my limits on. Oh well... I guess someone needed it more than I did.
