So, I bring my new to me bike back to its new place, and I decide since it has to sit a bit, I will charge the battery. I have to take it to CHP (on a trailer) to get the Vin number verified before I can finish registering it. So I take the battery out, and hook it up to the charger, and then try and put the battery back in. Turns out the terminals are all wrong, should be facing the front of the bike not the back, should have the negative terminal on the right - facing the me. Well, I dont know how they shoved this battery in or got the cable to extend to the terminal....so just for anyone needing a new battery - make sure you buy a new battery with the terminals on the correct side.....

$40 = new battery = happy bike, Happy bike= happy me. Next step, finish registering now that I got the Vin verified by CHP....hopefully just in time for spring weather.
