Jorge Lorenzo of Fiat Yamaha
( Not that I needed to tell most of you who he rides for;):]
I read that he fell in a slow corner during a motocross training accident suffering a fracture at the base of the first metacarpal and a displaced thumb on his right hand.
Doctor Augusto J. Casanovas made an open reduction and osteosynthesis with a small titanium plate, and Lorenzo will require hand protection for four to six weeks, leaving him unable to participate in the Sepang test, which is scheduled for February 25-26.
He is expected to make a full recovery in time for the final pre-season test in Qatar, which is due to take place from March 18-19
