Hiya - I am advertising my BMW Streetguard 2 Women's Riding Jacket - Size 40 on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-Streetguard-2-Womens-Jacket-Tobacco-Size-40_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3a57eebdbaQQitemZ250 583367098QQptZApparelQ5fMerchandise) and wanted to spread the word.

If you are considering buying this jacket, you probably already know something about BMW's quality of riding apparel. It really is top notch. I am not selling this jacket due to ANY lack of quality. I can assure you of that. I work at a BMW dealership, have several riding jackets, and am simply looking to sell this one to get a new summer riding jacket.

While this jacket is technically classified as 'pre-owned,' I have owned it literally four months and have ridden *maybe* 500 miles, and not in the rain.

The Streetguard 2 is the successor suit of the Tourguard Jacket. The Streetguard 2 offers excellent crash-resistance qualities, since the Armacore Material that is featured in the slide prone areas uses Kevlar and has the highest melting point of all motorcycle fabric on the market today. And the suit (in most parts of the country) can be worn for all 4 seasons because of optimal climactic comfort because new GORE-TEX® XCR wicks at 25% greater level then the previous version, and the TFL COOL technology, lowers the outer temperature by 10-15 ℉ by reflecting the infrared rays.

BTW, regular retail for a brand new BMW Streetguard 2 jacket is $849!! SELLING FOR $297

Versatility:
The jacket features a quilted layer that can be unzipped out of the jacket. It also features an extra zip-in collar which I have, but did not photograph with the jacket. It doesn't get that cold in Northern California where I live, so I wasn't using it. There are vents underneath the arms

Sizing:
To give you an idea of fitment and size, I am about 5'9" tall, and my chest measures 36 inches and there is plenty of room to add in under layers.

Shipping:
My general rule is that if you have specific shipping requests as far as handling and shipping goes, I will first get a quote from UPS or FedEx or whomever you prefer I ship through, and then tell you, and then charge you that amount. I will get the jacket shipped within 3 days of receiving payment.

Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!

Yes, it is a nice jacket. My boyfriend just asked me 'wait, so you have a quality piece of riding gear and you're selling it?!'

Uhhh .. I guess I'm fickle when it comes to gear and clothing. It REALLY is a nice jacket; nicest riding jacket I've owned actually.

In a way I hope it doesn't sell. :pompom:

btw, everyone seems so nice on this forum so far.

:yahoo:I'm used to BARF where you can post that your grandparent died and five forum members will hop on and say a bunch of a-holeish things.

nice change!

Snide comments and general jerkish behavior aren't tolerated here. We are proud of that fact. We've had to ban a few folks who refused to play nice, but most people appreciate that we are a friendly motorcycle forum (even though that seems to be an oxymoron if you look at most sites).
