Well I got to swap out my chain and spockets tonight with instruction from a great friend. Lots of pyrotechnics as well. Love to get a little greasy every once and awhile

tell me more! tell me more! I am trying to figure out gearing and sprockets and if I need to go up teeth or down teeth - so what did you choose, and why?

I decided to go up 2 teeth in the rear to give the bike a little more "get go". Makes the bike respond faster to throttle imput. Does take away from top speed a little but I'm not so worried about that since 175mph is a little much for everyday riding anyways lol.
Also makes wheelies easier (not a squid lol) :wootrock:

How can you have too much fun?!?! :chin:
Instead of using a grinder to cut your chain, I use a bolt cutter. Works fast and with out the sparks. Doesn't make as good of pictures as you have but it works really slick. Thanks for the smiles! :D:

My hubby just installed my new chain and sprockets. I bought the bike with 1 down in the front and 3 up in the rear. My odometer was off due to no speedo healer installed. I decided to go back to stock. My hubby says that my bike accelerated faster due to the old sprockets, I am ready to hop on and see how the new ones feel.

Let us know what you think of it being back to stock Brittaniann1 after you get out for a ride.

I'm also curious to hear how you like switching back to stock Brittaniann. I have my bike modified also, and really appreciate the extra pop it gives me when passing, or whenever else I feel a need for a quick burst of speed. I don't miss the high end much at all, but it makes me wonder how I would feel going back.
