reversable Hi-Viz vest

I went to one of my HOG meetings tonight and a gal was there promoting her gear and clothing line. I actually like the vest it is high-viz and reversable. you can find photos at this site.

The reason she came up with this vest, is last year when we went to a rally a lady pulled up in her cage and hit a fellow rider and he passed away from this encounter, so she wanted to make something in his honor. (All this happened behind me)

:D: Patches optional,:lol: I did order one so I can put all my Iron Butt and LD patches on the leathers side once I am done with that I will pose.:D: (cheese) I just may ride up to rAK and pose for her camara. That should get me another SS1000 patch that I can pose to everyone.:thumbsup:

that's a great idea! there are more and more people wearing high-vis clothing these days - I think that Harley is promoting more and more traffic-safety-orange shirts and vests and they seem to be catching on. it's not a full jacket but it's a start for sure!

I ordered an extra large so I can wear it over my coat. But you got a point about the sleeves, I should suggest to her about zip off/on sleeves.
HD got on the band wagan about being Hi-visible clothing last year, they gave it a test run with a couple of items and they flew off of the shelves:thumbsup:....BIG Clue ya think? light bulb went off there, now they know folks want more than dark colors.:):

The high viz stuff is prominently displayed at my local Harley store and I see more and more riders with vests on. I went the cheapo route and picked one up at a uniform supply store. Should I choose to change careers, I'm kitted out to do traffic control!

Follow - I think that gal is on to something with those vests, one item and you just reverse it when you stop. Although, like you, I'd patch the leather side and keep the hi-viz side...hi viz.

I talked to them today and they do have a design with a zipout sleeves in the works.

I'm seeing more riders wearing Hi vis vests when I'm riding to work. Most of them are wearing the orange Icon vests.
