:) Hey there! (wow, ya beat me to it... the introduction thread, that is :thumbup: )

Just cruised by, and thought I'd stop in and check this out. Always love to run across new forums for female riders -- it's amazing how the popularity of the sport has grown, and seems to be increasing in popularity amongst women more and more each day (esp. here in Florida!)

I've been riding about 8 months... ride just about as often as I can (commute daily -- weather permitting, longer day trips, short evening rides, etc...). I'm lucky that we have no riding "season" here, so I can ride year round.

Started off with my current bike -- a 1995 Kawi ZX6R. Bought her as a project bike, and my BF (who also rides) and I spent about 8 months putting her back together again. It's been an awesome "starter" bike, but I'm hoping to upgrade within about a year or so (I figure I'll ride the heck out of this one for a while).
