Do any of you wear any Icon gear; I have been looking around at different brands. It seems to have the look, comfort and safety I am looking for. I plan on going and trying the stuff on but I would like to hear some opinions about some of the gear that is out there and that is made for us.

I have the Icon Tuscadero Jacket and I LOVE it.... comfy and fits perfectly. I wear it regardless of weather (hot or cold) with the vents and the removable liner, it works for all the conditions I have used it under (even did a decent job of keeping me comfy in the rain). Comes with the armor too... no complaints from me.

Everyone I know who has Merc for hot days HATES it... while they list it as a summertime jacket, it's far from it. Ventilation is very poor; doesn't breathe a bit. Look at Joe Rocket, Alpinestars or any number of other companies for mesh gear if it gets really hot where you are.

Ok, so I bought a Tuscadero... and as much as I like it I can't lift my arms with the armor in the jacket and, with the armor in/out, it tends to choke me when i do lift my arms.... did you have the same problem? do you think I have to brake it in or should I look for something else.... thanx

This is a leather jacker right?? IF so yeah they take some getting used to with the armour and what not. Just the other day one of my friends put my leather jacket on and was like "OMG how do you wear this??? Its so heavy and How do you even move in it???" If breaking it in a little doesnt help definately think about getting something else. You dont want your movement impeded or to be uncomfortable when you ride.

is there something I can do to the jacket, other than time, to brake it in?
hehe, maybe I should sleep in it.
