I remember seeing the photos of a pretty young girl covered in road rash about a year or so ago, and always wondered how she was doing... well, I wonder no more:

Soooo very preventable... I'm glad to see that she's riding again, and is now preaching the virtues of wearing gear.

WOW!
I don't know what to say, I'm still reeling from the story....
(sometime later...)
I do know that I don't ride as fast as she was on the street on that almost fatal day. And to think my riding "pals" always give me shit for wearing all my gear AND a back protector on a touring bike. Huuuummm I think I need to send this on to a few of them...
Thank you for posting this.
Now go gear up and speed safe!

Gave me goose bumps.....
Its nice to see that see didn't let fear get in the way of her passion

This is one VERY lucky young woman to be alive! I often worry about the 6 inches of skin that's not covered up on my rear when I wear my chaps. Anyone heard of issues with that? My vanity (& mature hot biker chick alter-ego) gets SO in the way when choosing them.

LOL! Might try leather pants. I think they are "mature hot biker chick alter-ego" cool looking.
When on my HD Night Train I wear leather pants and chaps and at my age it still turns heads. (please be kind to this ol' Lady and let me keep my fantasy thank you in advance!) :lol
