League PIN: 125


Picking your Fantasy Road Race team couldn't be easier. Simply select a team of six riders, with two from each classification (MotoGP, World Superbikes and British Superbikes), ensuring that the total value of your team does not exceed your budget of £10m.

Or, if you wish, you can use our Lucky Dip team selector. This feature will randomly select a valid team for you in seconds - all you have to do is confirm that you are happy with the selections, or make the necessary changes to ensure that you are.

Select your team by the start of the game at 04:00 GMT on Saturday, 27th February to begin scoring points for the first race weekend. If you register after the Superpole session begins, you will only begin to score points from the race weekend following your registration.

It's as simple as that. Your only decision lies with which riders to pick - do you spend big on Valentino Rossi and Noriyuki Haga, only to fill the rest of your team with bargain basement riders, or do you go for the more consistent approach and pick a range of mid-priced riders?

Don't worry too much though - prior to the first race of the season, unlimited online team changes are at your disposal, and are all completely free of charge, allowing for a change of mind at the last minute.

After that, you can make up to a maximum of three changes per Game Round.
Please note that rider values in the 2011 Fantasy Road Race game are in no way indicative of their real-life salaries.

Good News From the Rea Camp! :yahoo:

Jonathan Rea (Castrol Honda) has had medical check-ups and scans following his high speed get-off yesterday in official IMS testing, and the good news for the talented rider from Northern Ireland is that he has not appeared to have suffered any serious injury. He is, in fact, hopeful of a return to action in a couple of days, and is aiming to line up for the start of the season on Sunday 27th.
Speaking from his Melbourne hospital bed, Rea stated, "The bike spat me off really hard, something like a 130mph crash but the most worrying thing was the possibility of aggravating the old injury to my hand, with my scapho-lunate ligament. But all the X-rays and CT scans have shown that there are no fractures to my wrist but maybe a fracture to the edge of my left collarbone, which I hope is a previous injury. I hope we can get out of here today and line up on the grid for practice on Friday to see how it goes. I am really optimistic because I have a range of movement in both my hands, which seemed to bear the brunt of the crash. If we can keep the swelling down to the minimum, and get on the bike without too much discomfort I will be out on the grid on Sunday trying as hard as ever."

Yes, the race aired at 5AM on west coast. It was an OUTRAGOUS race! I've never seen so many upsets before. Half the field was on the podium at one time or another. Crazy. (And my team was clearly in the upset side of things.) Congrats Astir!

Thanks Luna. That explains it. I usually check the listings on Saturday so we can make sure to catch it, but got lazy and didn't this weekend. The write ups & photos described a chaotic race, would have loved to have seen it.

OMG! And Edwards is racing at Silverstone. How do these people do it? A broken collarbone in 5 places then race 1 week later. Outrageous. My broken ankle got me a wheel chair for 2 weeks, crutches for 1 month, then I walked like a 100 year old woman for a week!
