Just remember to install the oil plug back in the engine case before you add the new oil....

You know Dan and I are willing to help. We even showed Flygirl once how it was done. It's so easy, once ya do it, you'll wonder why you were so apprehensive. Now oil changes on the Beemer...there's a whole different story.

And, make sure the washer is on the plug before you put the new oil in. :redface1:

Have the oil pan in postition BEFORE you remove the plug and that there is room for the oil you are about to empty in to it.:redface1:

I'm pretty sure if the weathers nice next Sunday, we'll be wrenching in the garage. If ya wanna ride down with your supplies, just let us know. We'll be more than happy to walk ya through it the first time.
Then if, you wanna hang out, we gotta bleed the brake lines on the SV, Replace it's now duct taped turn signal, change the trans fluid in the dirtbikes, change the oil and tranny fluid on Deetle and do it's front brakes. Hmmm, ya may wanna just run (or ride) as quick as possible after the oil change. :D:

Why yes, I do. Make sure rAK is around with her big stack of cloths! :D:
:redface1: Make sure the vent and plug in your oil catch pan are both removed (if you have the laying on its side container type. Otherwise you will need a large stack of cloths (did I mention rAK has a decent stack?) Also when draining the oil, remove the oil fill plug before removing the bottom drain plug. Otherwise it glugs everywhere and rAK will need to come to your rescue - yet again.
