I set my option for receiving email notifications on subscribed threads to "not receive" emails, but I still do. Is there something else I have to turn off?

I saw the option to also turn off email from the administrators, but I don't want to do that.

Are you getting emails on new threads, or old ones that you happen to already be subscribed to? Check your Subscribed Threads (under the Control Panel link in the upper left corner of the page). That will show all your current subscriptions and notification type of each. Click the box to the right of "notification" (on the right side of the page, in the header row) to check all of them, then click the dropdown where it says "Move to folder..." and choose "Delete Subscription" or "No Email Notification" and then click the GO button.

Zukilady, you may also check Control Panel/edit options. The second block of choices, Messages & Notification contains a selection that says 'default thread subscription.' Set it to 'do not subscribe.' Future threads you post in will have this setting.

However, this will not change your current subscriptions. The instructions that zee just gave are exactly what you need for threads that you have already posted in and/or subscribed to.
