The work needing to be done is not bad at all.

The right side of the handlebar is twisted slightly - $89 (for parts)
The headlamp rim is dented in - $49 (parts)
End of the clutch lever snapped off - $12 (parts)

The brackets holding the headlamp in place are bent. The shift lever is bent. both are fixable.

Todd's not charging me for labor, so for little less than $150, Baby Bonnie will be fixed and road worthy several weeks before I am. Todd and Stacey ROCK! :wootrock: They've been unbelievably sweet, and Stacey and I have a lot in common. I spent about four hours at their beautiful, custom built log cabin out in Franklin visiting with them (they have dogs, a cat, even have chickens and a rooster...and they have fresh eggs daily).

Couldn't resist a shot of me on the bike. I didn't go anywhere, and didn't move the bike, even an inch (Todd moved it), but i had to swing a leg over the saddle and just sit there... for a minute or two. You can't see the damage because of the way the front forks are angled, but trust me... it's there.

So, here we are. Yes, I'm pouting. Think Baby Bonnie is, too...

Great picture Phoenix, but that doesn't look like a pout to me, it looks more like a "I'm determined to get Baby Bonnie and me back on the road" look, and I like it. I think we should make Todd and Stacy Honorary Members of TWF.

Wow with all the parts that could be scratched or broken.
That is great you only have a few things get dinged.
Making new friends and one that is mechanically handy........:wootrock:
Perhaps he will mentor you on working on maintenance and repairs.

I love that you were able to meet such wonderful people. Who would think that having an accident could result in making great friends?

Nice picture. I agree about making new friends. It does look like Baby Bonnie's headlight is looking toward Kelly's mule barn.

Yep... headlight's a little askew, isn't it?

you said it! I was very lucky indeed... on all counts! Todd has said he teach me some basic maintenance stuff... oil changes, etc.

I know, right? Definitely a silver lining! They're an awesome couple, and Todd was even talking about getting them back into street bikes.
