I know I've been totally hogging this site. :) Lots of free time this week and lots of motorcycle stuff coming up, so it's perfect timing to meet you all and well... be a site hog. :) I hope this is OK - I'm going to try to embed a couple of pics of the bike I'm going to go look at next week. I've sat on lots and lots of bikes, but this one is different. Just wondered if anything pops out to you all that I'm not seeing? ThX in advance:

You are kidding right? It is always GREAT when someone new comes on and gets active right away! We love it, and it shows you have enthusiasm about being part of the TWF family!

Good to know...I was up last night to let my dog out (his annoying nightly 2AM call) and ended up going over my profile!!! Since I got my license in early September, I haven't even been able to SIT on a bike until this last month, to say I'm a little excited is an understatement! :ecstasy::cloud9::ecstasy:

Excitement is good! I've had my current bike since 2006 and Nut is always laughing at me because I still "pet" it often when I go out to the garage or just sit on it because I love how it feels.

We love having you here GraeBird! :hug2: No worries!! Your enthusiasm is exciting, and I personally can't wait to follow along on your journey of selecting your bike, and getting out on two wheels.

Yes, all of the above plus....had to go look at your profile and it says you want to see the Aurora Borealis....so...you might want to be looking at the dualsport bikes if you plan on riding there to see them. Of course you could get up North far enough on any bike to see them but the GS bikes are pretty cool. Oh boy, maybe a Triumph Bonneville too, and if you want a great cruiser check out my beemer...ok...I'm off track now.
Keep Posting!! :):

Lol...I say hello to my bike every day, rAK!

Graebird, I hope the bike is as nice in person and that you like the ride. It really is a great first time bike
gosh I hate doing this on my Droid ..

:chin:Being excited about the start of a new journey and letting us follow along while you find your way is a :perfect10: in my book.

It is a real joy for me to hear the steps as a new rider starts shopping for riding gear, shopping for that first bike :ecstasy: and then when you think you have spent enough money you get to farkle it up to make it truly yours :yahoo:

Of course you will need to supply us lots of photos every step of the way.
because we have very specific :LT: :rules: around here :D:

Graebird I hope the bike test ride goes well and you love it. If it doesn't feel right though, that just means more bike shopping! :) keep us posted!
