Greetings all!!!!

My husband's F4i started bogging while he was stunting in the parking lot and he got frustrated fixing it. Anyone got pointers on what's wrong?

As a result, a friend offered to sell his GSX750 street fighter stunter (flat nosed GSXR with a cage and 12 bar) for 3k. I suggested to sacrifice my bike for an even trade (our friend is an eBay fanatic). So he agreed to the trade and sold the bike within a day.

...my husband handed down his 2004 Kawasaki 10R to me. Can you say "UPGRADE" (from a 600RR to a 10R)?

Hey Congradulations on your new "upgrade"
I remember reading about that model when it first came out. Great bike.Lots of walk away power and light.. (well under 400lbs I think). And the best part of getting a use bike this way is you know how it was taken care of. Have fun!

The term "bogging down" is most commonly caused by a fuel problem. So many things to check but the first thing is to empty and clean/blow out all the fuel from the tank to the carb. It only takes a small amount of contamination to ruin a good ride.

Let us know how it works out. And Congrats on the new ride!

That REALLY makes SENSE!!! It just may be from the CARB. I think that's the ONE item that has not been checked!

You could have some water in the fuel line and that could be the problem. It is easy to get bad gas. That is why if I see the tanker off loading at the gas station I just drive on down the road. It stirs up shit from the bottom of the tank.
But I would just drain and check starting from the tank and working my way down to the carb. That is the cheapest place to start! JM2C

I asked my husband about the carb situation. He informed me that the bike does not have a carb. It is fuel injected.

I still stand by the fuel issue...just insert FI where carb is. I tend to say carb because I am 'Old School' :lol

Please let us know what it turns out to be. We all learn by others sharing what they learned.
