Keith Code released these books to help the novice rider and even the advanced rider!

You can find them at any book store or on-line on Amazon.

Give them

I think all the David Hough books are fabulous, too.
Street strategies is a very well laid out book analyzing many common accidents and showing how they could be avoided.
His Proficient Motorcycling (2 books) are great for learning or improving your technique.

I'm a bit adverse to the Keith Code books, I don't feel that they are written in a way that really helps a new rider. The organization of the topics themselves is a bit scattered and introduces some things (like trail braking) before other things that generally seem to be more important to most riders as they are learning. Any information is better than none but there are definately better books out there for street riders.

I own and am a fan of twist of the wrist 1 and 2. I think that, as long as you are riding more than reading, learning some things ahead of others is not a problem.

Another book I would highly recommend is "Total Control: High-Performance Street Riding Techniques" by Lee Parks.

I have the Twist of the Wrist books, but I find them very difficult to read. The writing is so bad it's nearly incomprehensible, and the bad typography makes that even worse. Also, it's oriented primarily to riding on a track, which I rarely do.

Proficient Motorcycling, on the other hand, is wonderfully clear and explains complex concepts in a simple manner. And it focuses more on strategies that are useful on the street.

I have this book also and I totally love it. I looked at the profient motorcycling books also but they just couldn't keep my attention span going like 'sport riding techniques' can.
