Added the windscreen black border. Makes the bike look a little different sportier IMO. The border came from my 91 EX500 and was a perfect fit.

Looks good. I'm always worried about stuff interacting with the plastic in my windscreen and causing it to craze. Have you noticed anything like that on your other bike?

Nope, nothing like that at all. I have an "AINT SKEERT" vinyl applique' on the other bike's windscreen, but haven't found anything to put on the 650. I was thinking ablut maybe a really well designed, purple, TWF one, what do ya think............................................. .;) ;) :)

I have had many stickers on my screens and never had a problem.
That said I have had problems with stuff I have used on my screens to clean them.
I ONLY use cleaner recommended for cleaning screens. And true to form I can't remember the name of the stuff I use...hmmmm
Plexus!!! Dang I remembered!:lol

I bought a big pile of micro-cloth towels at Costco. They were cheap and I always use them on my screen. But when ever I forget and lay one on the ground I retire it to the wash. If you don't and you clean your screen you will have little scratches. :(
Same goes for your paint...don't ask...

I was detailing my 2001 HD Night Train with one and set it down on the seat and it slid off. I picked it up shook it good and went back to work.
I scratched the rear fender so bad I had to buff it out. It still is not right but unless I show it to you it is not noticeable.
They pick up dirt and lint very well. They also pick up the bigger stuff that can toast a great paint job...:(
I use them for most cleaning jobes on the bikes but will retaire a rag when it gets older to the dirty stuff like only doing tires and rims. I just hate to have to buff out paint that I screwed up.:mad
Variable speed buffer by Makita. Best darn present I've ever gotten! There's always a nasty scratch on something we own, so it gets used a lot! I"m a bit surprised by fellow drivers that swing their doors open and bash my truck. Gets my dariens in a bunch!
