Does anyone know what is causing the barn to sink?
The sinking is more metaphorical than literal. The roof is falling off, the sides are tilting, but it's not really sinking into the earth.

Those silos are really cool, LT! And the barns in the snow are beautiful.

I have no idea. If the owner is out the next time I go by I will ask them if they know.

LT those wooden silos are amazing. Very interesting. I've seen stone and metal ones but those are awesome.

Great thread, how did I miss this one. Looks like I'm going to have to make a road trip or two this summer to visit a few old barns I know of.

Excellent thread!!!!!

I love old barns and old barn doors. Lol.. as a matter of fact, the only decent pictures I have in my house are of old barn doors and windows... (not as bad as it sounds..)

Oh boy - I see a really fun ride coming sometime soon!!!! :) A reason to go take pictures of barns and barn doors!
